Dave Grohl Sings “My Hero” To Drunk Man Invited On Stage

Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters again proved himself to be the nicest man in rock when he invited a tearful fan on stage during a performance of “My Hero.”

During the band’s most recent show at Fiddler’s Green Ampitheatre on Sunday, Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters once again proved himself to be the nicest man in rock when he invited a tearful fan up on stage during a performance of “My Hero.”

While the audience were singing along (how can you not?!) Grohl spotted one fan in the front-row in floods of tears to which he responded:

“Don’t cry, motherfucker, I know you’re drunk, don’t cry…come here, I’m going to sing this to your crying, grown man ass right now.”

The fan, called Anthony, was then lifted over the barricade and joined the rock-god on stage where the two shared a hug before continuing with the song.

Afterwards Grohl said:

“One of the great things about being the Foo Fighters is that you never quite know what’s going to happen when you do a Foo Fighters show, When i see a grown man crying, I mean, come on.”

Since video of the moment was uploaded onto YouTube, it has been viewed more than a million times. Check it out below!
