David Beckham has been involved in a car crash in Los Angeles.
The 38-year-old recently retired soccer star and his eldest son Brooklyn were in a collision with another car near their Beverly Hills home Friday afternoon. Police responded to a report that Beckham was pulling out of his driveway when he a struck an oncoming car driven by an unidentified woman.
Beckham’s black range rover, reportedly worth $75,000, appeared to have its front bumper torn off, while a white Acura had a damaged front mudguard. Neither driver is thought to be taking action against the other.
“No one was hurt and there was no need for drivers to exchange details,” a source close to Beckham told Sky News.
This is the second crash for the father and son who were also involved in a multiple car pileup in Los Angeles in 2011.
