Dawn Richard Launches New Solo Era, Leaves Danity Kane Behind

After Danity Kane’s comeback had a thousand twists and turns that lead to a disbandment, Dawn Richard didn’t miss time and kicked off her new solo era.

Dawn Richard

Dawn Richard only saw the release of the third Danity Kane album a few days ago. It seems the disbandment is permanent, since the girls couldn’t even get together to appear in their own music video for “Rhythm Of Love.” However, Dawn only further confirms it by moving on solo and launching her brand-new album, Black Era.

Without missing time, Dawn Richard went on and revealed a lot of things regarding her upcoming project. The songstress unleashed the promotional images seen at the top of this article, the artwork for her brand-new album Blackheart, seen right above, and her brand-new single “Blow”, along with its accompanying music video.

With “Blow,” she serves a slow-burning kind of urban tune, with a complex production to go by. The accompanying music video finds her in various outfits, serving the sex appeal along with the right amount of ratchetry. As always, Dawn Richard makes sure she delivers with the choreography as well, with various dance sequences throughout the clip. Give it a look below.

Blackheart is scheduled to be released on January 15, 2015. The album will serve as a follow-up to 2013’s Goldenheart.
