Season two of Arrow seems to keep getting more and more packed with your favorite heroes and villains from the DC Universe!

The newest recurring character to be joining the series is none other than the villain Amanda Waller. At first glance you wouldn’t think that Waller would be that much of a villain, but with her expertise in espionage and politics, she proves to be a very ruthless woman.

It is unknown as to who will play the character of Waller but she is set to appear in the sixth episode of season two which is titled “Keep Your Enemies Closer.” The description for that episode reads: “This episode will see the introduction of recurring character Amanda Waller who is an agent of A.R.G.U.S. who sends out a team to kidnap Diggle.” Yikes, she sounds mighty frightening!

Amanda Waller has been portrayed in other television shows and movies so this is not the first time she has appeared on screen. Pam Gier played her on Smallville, while Angela Bassett did the same in the 2011 film Green Lantern

Other characters that have been confirmed to appear in the new season of Arrow are Black Canary, Jean Loring, and Sin. Major DC hero The Flash is also set to appear in at least three episodes.

Arrow sounds like it is going to be jam packed with a lot of great things this season! Season 2 premieres on October 9 on The CW.
