Demi Lovato absolutely stunned Superbowl LIV fans with her performance of The National Anthem. This performance marking the second performance since hitting a real low just a few months ago. She took to the Grammy’s stage to perform her new single, “Anyone”, which also stunned fans just last week.
“This song was written and recorded actually very shortly before everything happened. I recorded the vocals for it four days before [the overdose],” Lovato told Lowe. “The lyrics took on a totally different meaning. At the time when I was recording it, I almost listen back and hear these lyrics as a cry for help. And you kind of listen back to it and you kind of think, how did nobody listen to this song and think, ‘Let’s help this girl.’
These two performances reminding us all of why Demi Lovato is one of (if not) the vocalist of our generation. A true force to be reckoned with — a powerhouse, a Queen, a Legend.
As for Demi Lovato’s National Anthem performance, we had chills all over. Thankfully you don’t have to look too far to find a replay of the performance. Check it out.
