Back when Veronica Mars was on-air the Neptune PD was employer for some of the town’s finest, including Deputy Leo D’Amato played by the (then) fresh-faced Max Greenfield. Years later Max finds himself starring on one of the most popular comedies on FOX, New Girl.
Lucky for Veronica Mars fans we are well on our way to getting the long awaited Veronica Mars movie and with it, the return of some of the most beloved and memorable characters, Leo D’Amato included! It was revealed this week by the actor himself that he has signed on to reprise his role on the big screen!
He was sure not to let many details slip but he did reveal that his character will be working now as a detective at the San Diego Police Department. And although it sounds like Greenfield’s part won’t be a big one (he’s apparently only tapped to film a couple days in June) I’m sure that diehard fans will be excited to see any glimpse of Leo.
