I would like, if I may, to introduce you to the newest web series that is without a doubt, going to take the Internet by storm… Destroy The Alpha Gammas.
Being elected president of your sorority in college is something to celebrate, right? Even if your house isn’t the hottest, the richest, or most popular and you’re often referred to as “the boner killers,” becoming president is still something worthy of a celebration. That’s just what Carrie, the newly instilled president of the Delta Pi’s, wants to do.
Heading over to her boyfriend’s house to surprise him, Carrie ends up being the one surprised when she discovers that he’s not alone. The other woman? Autumn, who is the president of Alpha Gamma; the hottest, most desirable, and most feared house on campus.
Heading home Carrie begins her life as President of the DP’s, organising the sororities calendar, determining their goals for the year, y’know the usual stuff, that is until she’s interrupted by the sound of her name being shouted from outside.
Once outside, Carrie and her sisters are bombarded with water balloons at the hands of the Alpha Gammas.
Back inside and after a brief musical interlude of Adele’s, “Rolling in the Deep” (which is awesome to say the least), Carrie’s had enough. It’s time to re-evaluate the goals she thought she wanted to achieve as president, there’s only one goal now: Destroy the Alpha Gammas!
It’s one part Mean Girls, one part Glee, and one part Greek. It’s sexy, funny and edgy. It’s Top 40 hits. It’s love triangles. It’s catfights. But most importantly, it’s awesome.
DAG is written by and stars pop songstress Leah McKendrick, is directed by Streamy Award nominated director, Scott Brown (Larry King Now), and executive produced by Anna Roberts and Shin Shimosawa (The Following, The Grudge)
Other cast members include Anastacia McPherson (Suburgatory) as Autumn, Jon Hall (Glee) as Adam, Lindsay Morgan (General Hospital) as Lauren, and Sara Fletcher (My Secret Girlfriend) as Jessie to name a few recognizable faces.
