It’s been a difficult time these past few months for Gleeks, the Glee cast, and of course Cory Monteith’s family and friends, after his tragic death two months ago.

In tribute, Ryan Murphy and co. made the decision to write and dedicate an episode to Finn in Cory Monteith’s honour. The episode will be called “The Quarterback” – referring to the position Finn Hudson played in the football team, which can also be interpreted as Finn’s role in the Glee club.

What came as a surprise to most Glee fans was the fact that Dianna Agron who played Quinn on the FOX show, was NOT going to appear in the tribute episode. Fans have voiced their shock and disappointment considering the important part Quinn played in Finn’s life, dating on and off throughout season one and two and trying to convince him that he was Beth’s father.

Agron has recently been promoting her new film The Family, which stars some of Hollywood’s biggest names; Robert DeNiro, Michelle Pfeiffer and Tommy Lee Jones.

In an interview with Katie Couric on hershow, Katie, a visibly teary Dianna spoke about remembering her late co-star. Gracefully answering Couric’s question, Agron had nothing but praise for Monteith saying ‘he was one of the most amazing people that I’ve ever met’ and that ‘it’s one of those things that still doesn’t seem real’.
