Diary Of Joe Dirt: David Spade to Release Memoir Of His Somewhat-Funny Life

David Spade, who has never really gotten the film exposure he has tried to work for, is finally getting his chance in the spotlight with the announcement that he is writing a memoir.

Spade is planning to write an autobiography that will tell basically his life story, starting from his childhood and working through his years on Saturday Night Live, his film career and most importantly, his close and ultimately tragic friendship with Chris Farley, who died just as both he and Spade were experiencing the peak of their success.

The book is set for a 2015 release, and according to Spade, it is a “must-buy” and a “maybe-read”.
