Miley Cyrus might be twerking her way into the media spotlight on the daily, but not everyone is impressed with her interpretation of the dance.
In a recent interview with Yahoo! OMG reporter Keltie Knight, hip-hop mogul Diddy watched as Knight brought out her best twerking to try and impress the star.
Diddy stopped the reporter from twerking further, saying, “We gotta talk about the twerking, because you got to get the twerking right! I just want you to do it the right way,” he explained. “That’s the Miley Cyrus way. You’ve got to be able to move each cheek by itself.”
Miley brought the twerk team to national attention after her polarizing performance with Robin Thicke at the VMAs last month. Diddy wasn’t nearly as critical of Thicke, saying that he’s been known to “dance,” “shout,” and “work out” to Thicke’s single “Blurred Lines.”
