Who’s ready for the Gayvengers?!

Lee Daniels, the director of the critically acclaimed The Butler, has announced that he wants to make a gay interracial, love and action hero movie.

Lee told Out Magazine to imagine “Mr. and Mrs. Smith, but the two good-looking guys as the action heroes,” but he says “We don’t find out they’re gay until the end of the movie.” Well, now the entire plot has been given away…I hate knowing the endings, Mr. Daniels!

The project Lee has in the works will star Alex Pettyfer (I Am Number Four) as one half of the interracial duo. “Alex Pettyfer is in it, [but] I have to find the right black guy opposite him. He’s so hot, isn’t he? So hot. And so aware of his hotness in a way that’s so…I love him to death,” he gushed to the mag.

Andrew Garfield has suggested Michael B. Jordan be a gay love interest for Spiderman, so maybe if Michael’s spot in the Fantastic Four reboot doesn’t pan out; he’ll get his chance to be a gay superhero after all!

Out Magazine called for Idris Elba to be Alex’s Mr. Smith, which would make more than a few PopWrapped staffers giddy, though I think he’s a little too old (sorry, guys!).

What about someone already within the Lee Daniel’s family; like Alex’s The Butler co-star, Jesse Williams? Can you see it?
