The Fault in Our Stars has just released its first featurette, opening with a clip where Augustus (Ansel Ergot) asks Hazel (Shailene Woodley) out for the first time. It’s adorable and sweet, something we expect from a movie like this, but of course most of us knows that there is more to this film.

In an interview featured alongside the clip, Shailene Woodley encapsulates the movie perfectly when she says, “ The Fault In Our Stars is the love story of two kids with cancer, but it’s not about cancer.”  The male lead, Ansel Ergot, adds, “It’s full of metaphors and they both accept that this is gonna be their only and last love.”  And as if to hone the point, the new clip offers up more adorable scenes, interposed with a poignant moment where Hazel says what might become the movie’s iconic line:

“I cannot tell you how thankful I’m for a little infinity.”

It is enough to make you breakdown and cry. And just think: this is just a behind-the-scenes look!

The feauturette also shows some footage of the cast and crew having fun between shoots, and the actual chemistry on set. Ergot even talks about working with Woodley, saying, “I’m glad it was Shailene who got to be my Hazel Grace and I hope she’s glad that I got to be her Gus.”
