Twelve years after Boy Meets World ended its seven-season run on ABC, Disney Channel is in the early phases of creating a sequel series. Disney quietly closed a deal recently with Boy Meets World co-creator/executive producer, Michael Jacobs for the new project, titled Girl Meets World. The show would focus on the preteen daughter of Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) who famously married before the original series ended. Disney is trying to lock down Savage and Fishel to reprise their original roles.
