In 1959 Walt Disney Productions released the animated classic Sleeping Beauty. The film contained innovative film techniques, action, romance, and most importantly, the “greatest villain” – Maleficent.
55 years later, Disney is set to release a live action film told from Maleficent’s point of view. The highly anticipated movie stars the regal Angelina Jolie in the title role, and Elle Fanning as the Princess.
The trailer includes new footage of Maleficent and Sleeping Beauty meeting in the forest for the first time. Jolie is captivating, and the special effects look great. The trailer certainly inspires excitement.
