Disney Imagineering and Avatar creator, James Cameron, have been in active talks to form an Avatar theme park at the Walt Disney World Animal Kingdom for some time. The problem has been that Cameron and the Disney Imagineers haven’t been able to see eye to eye, and as such, rumors have been circulating that the park may be altogether delayed or scrapped for good.
The good news is that, rumors are a flurry that Cameron has FINALLY signed off on the Disney’s plans, and that the park is again in full steam ahead mode. Even better, several blueprints for the park’s layout have leaked that are revealing a 3D simulator ride, as well as a water ride.
