How best can you celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi? By joining in all the fun at Walt Disney World’s Star Wars Weekends. Taking place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from the 17th May – 9th June, the logo for the 2013 event has just been released and appears to have taken its inspiration from the Battle of Endor. Here Mickey is seen with Chip and Dale flying through the Forest Moon with scout troopers in hot pursuit.

Not only was the logo unveiled today, but two celebrity appearances were also announced. Action star Ray Park, the menacing, double-lightsaber welding Sith warrior Darth Maul, will be appearing on Weekends I and II and everyone’s favourite Ewok, Wicket, aka Warwick Davis, will be there Weekends II and III.

They will be joining celebrity hosts James Arnold Taylor and Ashley Eckstein at the annual special event. Both are best known to Star Wars fans for their voice-over work in the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars series where James Arnold Taylor plays Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ashley Eckstein is the voice of Anakin’s Padawan, Ahsoka Tano.
