So Whovians have had little in the way of on-set tidbits this year…. The odd guest announcement here, the odd title there, but hardly any official on-set photos of monsters or even our regular cast!
But finally we have a glimpse at the Doctor’s latest foe. And it looks terrifying.
SPOILERS AHEAD, SWEETIE.
It started with the BBC releasing this photo of the creature. Shrouded in smoke and semi darkness, it was very difficult to make out the shape underneath.

It gave very little away until this newer picture was released a little bit later, making things a little clearer.

It will feature in the two-parter which is currently filming – “The Girl Who Died/The Woman Who Lived” by Steven Moffat, Jamie Mathieson, and Catherine Tregenna. The episode, as we previously revealed, will feature Maisie Williams and Rufus Hound among others.
Whatever this monster is, it’s huge, metal, and looks very robotic. But whether the creature is made of metal, wearing that like a suit, or piloting it like those aliens from Men in Black remains to be seen.
Doctor Who will air on BBC One this autumn.
