Looks like Matt Smith will have no problem looking for a job after Doctor Who.

Our favorite 11th Doctor, who just wrapped up filming for this year’s Doctor Who Christmas special which will be final episode, is said to be wanted for a role in the series Arrow, according to SciFiNow.

Star Stephen Amell, who portrays Oliver Queen, says that Exec producer Andrew Kreisberg is a Doctor Who fan and really hopes to get Smith on the show.

“Andrew is such a Whovian, So if you were to say to him right now, ‘Number one guest star actor/actress, who would it be?’ – clearly it would be Matt Smith,” says Amell.

Amell also joked by saying, “they would probably hire [Smith] to take [his] job”.

“I can tell you that if there was even the faintest chance that he is available, he would be hired immediately,” Amell said. “They love Doctor Who so much.”

If Smith were to join the show, he wouldn’t be the first person from the Who-verse who would do so. Actors John Barrowman and Alex Kingston, who played Captain Jack Harkness and River Song respectfully, had recurring roles on the show as well.

Arrow returns for its second season on October 9 on The CW.
