It seems that Amber Riley won’t be staying away from our screens for too long, as there is speculation that she is to take part in season 17 of Dancing With the Stars!
According to Wetpaint Entertainment, Amber is rumoured to be a likely contender for the show although no one from ABC has confirmed these rumours.
The actress, who is best known for playing Mercedes Jones on the hit Fox show Glee, recently announced that she would be leaving the show but would be a part of the tribute episode for Cory Monteith, entitled ‘The Quarterback’, along with Mark Salling and Mike O’Malley.
Although the 27-year-old posted on her Instagram today, “HUGE announcement next week hehehehehe! Can’t wait to share y’all,” we will have to wait for the official DWST line-up, which will be revealed Sept. 4th on Good Morning America. Until then, it is mainly speculation whether Riley will take part in the competition or not.
