The upcoming CW series, The Flash, based on the DC comics character, has found a new foe for the highly anticipated show. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Prison Break actor Dominic Purcell has signed on to play one of the comic villains Mick Rory, known as Heat Wave, the dangerous Pyro and member of villainous group the Rogues.
Previous news confirmed fellow Prison Break actor Wentworth Miller was appearing alongside the cast of The Flash in the 10th episode. He has already been spotted filming scenes for the show. Miller’s character, Leonard Snart, also known as Captain Cold, additionally joins the Rogues in the ongoing comic books.
The Flash is set to premiere on the CW October 7th. Its premiere will lead into the 10th season premiere of the long running series, Supernatural.
