Not that I am condoning violence, but if you have ever wanted to get a big stick and hit Donald Trump, you may get your chance if you head over the border into Mexico because Donald Trump pinatas are all the rage and can be found everywhere!
Ever since Trump made his hugely controversial comment about immigrants from Mexico, the backlash has been pretty intense. Now, a Mexican artist is playing his part in the war against Trump.
Dalton Ramirez has been making piñatas that bear the likeness of Donald Trump, and according to Ramirez, these piñatas are quite popular with his customers.
If you missed Trump's controversial words, he basically said that the U.S. is a dumping ground for Mexicans with problems, and these people are criminals, involved in drugs, and even rapists. Though, he also said, "And some, I assume, are good people.”
That "good people" thing just wasn't enough for many, however, and the repercussions have been great. Univision, for instance, announced that they would not be partnering with the Miss USA pageant any longer, or which Trump produces. With an elementary playground style response, Trump sent a letter to the Univision CEO Randy Falco banning him and his employees from Trump's properties in Miami.
On top of this, according to CNN, NBCUniversal has also chosen to break ties with Trump.
The Trump Organisation said after the NBC announcement that he was no longer affiliated with the broadcaster but stood by his campaign trail comments.
"Mr. Trump stands by his statements on illegal immigration, which are accurate," a Trump Organisation statement said.
"NBC is weak and, like everybody else, is trying to be politically correct."
"That is why our country is in serious trouble."
And this is the guy who's going to help get us on track??
