The Graham Norton Show will be getting a double dose of Doctor Who.
According to Digital Spy, David Tennant and Matt Smith, Doctors Ten and Eleven, have been announced as guests for the November 22nd episode.
The upcoming appearance of the two actors is perfectly timed to the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special “The Day Of The Doctor,” which will air the following day on November 23rd.
Other guests scheduled to appear on the popular BBC1 talk show are Emma Thompson, Jimmy Carr, and Robbie Williams.
The synopsis for “The Day Of The Doctor” is as follows: “In 2013, something terrible is awakening in London’s National Gallery; in 1562, a murderous plot is afoot in Elizabethan England; and somewhere in space an ancient battle reaches its devastating conclusion. All of reality is at stake as the Doctor’s own dangerous past comes back to haunt him.”
Matt Smith and David Tennant will reprise their respective Doctors in the special. Billie Piper and Jenna-Louise Coleman will play companions Rose and Clara. John Hurt will play The Doctor as well though not a very nice Doctor it seems.
The special is written by showrunner Steven Moffat and will be directed by Nick Hurran.
The full trailer will be released on Saturday. To tide you over, however, you can watch the teaser trailer below!
