If you were one of the many fans who saw Dragon Ball Z Resurrection F in theaters, or even one of those who have yet to experience the successful installment, there is some good news! FUNimation announced this week that the anime film will be available on digital HD October 9th, and through various retail outlets starting on October 20th. The film received mostly widespread positive comments from fans and fairly positive feedback from critics, helping the Dragon Ball Z film enter the top 10 grossing anime films of all time and nearly $9 million from the U.S. box office.
In a recent press release, Gen Fukunaga, founder and CEO of FUNimation stated,
“We’re grateful to all our fans for their tremendous response and support for the theatrical release of “Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’. I am especially pleased to bring them the home video release so quickly after the theatrical run so they can enjoy the movie over and over again, just as we will.”
The home video release will include an assortment of Dragon Ball Z extras for fans to enjoy including various editions such as:
