Think the battles on ‘Dragon Ball Z’ are intense? Check out the behind-the-scenes video of the voice actors making those crazy noises.

The long-running and mega-popular anime Dragon Ball Z is well known for its fiery, action-packed, one-on-one clashes between extraordinarily powerful opponents. When the battles get particularly heated, the grunts and screams DBZ’s heroes and villains unleash get just as supercharged as their martial arts moves and explosive energy blasts.

Now with the extended edition release of the English language version of the latest movie, Battle of Gods, DBZ’s voice actors are proving that they can get pretty furious themselves! A behind-the-scenes extra from the release showcases the intense performances of voice actors Sean Schemmel and Jason Douglas as they breathe life into the grunts and cries of their characters in an epic showdown between hero Goku and new villain Beerus.

Watch the clip below to see Goku and Beerus and their real-life counterparts go head-to-head on screen and in the sound booth!

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods (Extended Edition) is available now through FUNimation.
