Following unconfirmed reports, it’s now official.
Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman have split after nearly four years of marriage and have released a joint statement confirming the news. The couple, who have two small children together (Olive, 3, and Frankie, 2) said in the joint statement:
“Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family.
“Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on.
“Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority.”
Sources are now saying that the couple is currently working on living arrangements for their girls while also tentatively remaining in New York City, due to Olive’s pre-school.
Divorce is never easy on children, so hopefully the transition is as painless as possible.
