Sony had its fair share of surprises yesterday afternoon during its E3 conference reveals, but perhaps amongst the very top of them all was the reveal trailer for The Last of Us Remastered.
In it, fans of the AAA PS3 title got to see just how revamped the game’s aesthetics have become for its PS4 port and, indeed, they look more theatrically-inclined in terms of graphical prowess than ever before. It’s a very impressive affair, but perhaps even more impressive was the fact that Naughty Dog and Sony were willing to “go there” in terms of making the trailer totally spoilerific.
For those who have not played the game on the PS3 already, it is highly advised that you do NOT view the video below. Go seek out some screenshots, instead, as they’ll be less prone to spoil nearly all of the game’s integral scenes to you in as quick a succession as this trailer does. Otherwise, enjoy the drama unfold in polished 1080p like you’ve never seen it before!
Though it’s a recent rehash, I can’t help but look forward to The Last of Us Remastered. It’s such an amazing title that it thoroughly deserves an enhanced replay, even if it’s only been a couple of years since its initial release.
