E3 2014: The Countdown To “Crackdown” For Xbox One Begins

Remember Crackdown?

Developed by Realtime Worlds and set in the futuristic, tech-ridden Pacific City, it was one of the Xbox 360’s most beloved and best-selling titles ever to be released. It clocked in at around 1.5 million sales within its first 6 months on shelves. But even with that though, Crackdown‘s future was constantly in question as the years went by and no sequel was ever announced.

Well, 7 years after the original’s release, the wait is finally over! It was announced earlier during Microsoft’s E3 spectacular that Crackdown will be getting a sequel, and it’s coming exclusively to the Xbox One in 2015!

Not much else is known about the impending sequel at this point other than the fact that series creator Dave Jones is returning to the project’s helm to ensure that it’s of top-notch quality and readied for a modern audience.

Either way, we’re looking forward to it!
