#E3 Day 0: Microsoft Announces Xbox One Backwards Compatibility

Happy Gamesmas! The biggest gaming event of the year, E3, is upon us and Microsoft is starting off with a bang, dropping some great news.

I hopped onto my Xbox to play Grand Theft Auto Online, but then something on my dashboard caught my eye. The Xbox One E3 Briefing! How could I forget?!

Are you guys excited for E3? I’ve got my snacks, my water, and a comfortable chair so I am completely ready for this 3-day event.

Get ready, because I am fully prepared to share the lineup that Microsoft has in store for us!

So far, we’ve heard about Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza 6, Gigantic, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Fable Legends, and Halo 5: Guardians!

Xbox head honcho Phil Spencer has officially announced that Xbox One will finally give way to backwards compatibility. I am overjoyed and, honestly, it’s about time Microsoft did this! There was no way in hell I was giving up my 360 games and I’m sure that I am not the only one.

E3 is always the gaming event of the year, and if your jaw hasn’t hit the floor just yet, there’s so much more to come. These companies are ready to take the stage by storm!

To give you a taste of what’s going to drain your pocketbooks, here’s the spectacular video Microsoft has put out ahead of the official event:
