Even as the series expanded, Assassin’s Creed has always had a spot in my heart. The franchise is oozing with history often under-appreciated by people today, so to exploit a history lesson in a way that’s interactive, fun, and a little different from reality has always been appealing to me!
Now, we still don’t know much in ways of an actual storyline for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Unity other than the fact that it’s set in France during the French Revolution. What Ubisoft successfully did during Microsoft’s E3 presentation today, though, was make it so that temporarily didn’t matter.
The demo that they’d shown of the incoming installment was amazing and definitely re-instilled hype in thousands of gamers across the globe!
Multi-player co-op in an Assassin’s Creed title? Yes, please!
Unity’s protagonist has a name, Arno Dorian, as announced alongside its release date of October 28! Collector’s Editions and Season Passes have all been sorted out for the impending release, of which you can see all of the deets for it at your retail website of choice.
I’m sure we’ll have plenty of time to get the extra deets in terms of an actual story ironed out for Unity in the near future. Until then, check out the multiplayer demonstration below and enjoy all of the rogue-work and bloodshed.
