The recent announcement that HBO plans to produce a TV version of the cult 1973 film Westworld is nothing short of exciting. With stars such as Anthony Hopkins, James Marsden, and Jeffrey Wright, it seems the show has cast its ultimate villain–and there is no better choice!
Multiple Academy Award-nominee Ed Harris is set to play Westworld’s The Man in Black, who is apparently “distillation of pure villainy into one man,” who serves as the top villain in the show.
Harris is known for playing sinister and slightly offbeat characters throughout his long career, and he certainly excels at it. He will be a great addition to this impressively growing cast of what is sure to be a phenomenal show.
