Eddie Redmayne Discusses “Stalking” Jennifer Aniston

Despite being an Oscar-nominated-actor, Eddie Redmayne is a fanboy just like the rest of us! Like when he “stalked” Jennifer Aniston at a Hollywood event.

We have heard so much of Eddie Redmayne these past few weeks, with him picking up awards left and right for his brilliant turn as Stephen Hawking in the Theory Of Everything. But despite all his success, talent and incredibly posh background, which allowed him to go to Secondary school the same year as Prince William, deep down inside he is still just a starstruck celebrity fan boy like the rest of us.

Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel on his talk show, the British actor admitted that it is “completely surreal” meeting “all these people you’ve long admired.”

He then shared the thoughts racing through his mind the moment he met Julia Roberts who presented the award he won at SAG. “My dad’s favorite film is Pretty Woman, he said, “I was sort of hugging Julia Roberts, and then I was meant to be articulate. All I could think of was, ‘I want to tell my dad!’” He then later had a long conversation with his Dad on the encounter. Which makes us think that the Fan-boy gene is inherited.

Moving on to another celebrity encounter, Eddie spoke of stalking Jennifer Aniston at a party with his wife. “My wife and I love Friends,” he said. “We saw Jennifer Aniston at a party, and we were just incredibly inappropriate. We so wanted to meet her that we just sort of literally stalked about four meters behind her for an entire evening.”

Husband and wife stalking their favorite celebrity, now isn’t that romantic?

But did they get to meet her? Watch the video of the interview below to find out.
