Digital Spy has added another photo for the upcoming movie X-Men Days of Future Past. It depicts Canadian darling Ellen Page staring soulfully up (way up) into Shawn Ashmore’s eyes. Page will be playing Kitty Pryde to Ashmore’s Iceman. This will be the 26-year-old Page’s second outing as Kitty Pryde after 2006’s X-Men 3: The Last Stand.
As for the photo, it seems like a whole lot of brown leather nothing which is very representative of how Bryan Singer, the film’s director, has released other photos of the production thus far (Halle Berry as Storm, Patrick Stewart as Xavier, Shawn Ashmore as Iceman). So until the official trailers start rolling out, it’s essentially photographic randomness functioning as crumbs leading up to the film’s opening in July of 2014. Something to make the wait not seem so long and keep the interest alive as we go. Not that I’m complaining. Can we get Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy next please?
