Performers Announced For Darren Criss’ Elsie Fest In New York

Elsie Fest, created by Darren Criss, is preparing for its second year in New York and there are some amazing performances ahead for musical theater fans!

What exactly is Elsie Fest? Elsie Fest is an outdoor Music Festival based in New York created by Darren Criss, Jordan Roth and Ricky Rollins. Festivals for indie, rock, country, pop, and alternative music are explosive right now, and why shouldn’t our favorite Broadway performers and musicians celebrate a love for show tunes at a festival too?

The festival itself, named after Sally Bowie’s Roomie, is ready to make a splash for the second year in New York.  And let me tell you, this year is looking to be full of amazing talent!

The music festival will include full sets from Darren Criss himself, along with Megan Hilty (SMASH), Tituss Burgess (The Little Mermaid),  Rebel And A Basket Case, Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown, Tony Award winner Lena Hall (Hedwig And The Angry Inch), Cory Cott (Newsies), songwriting duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Dear Evan Hansen), Julie James and special performance from Tony Award winner Cynthia Erivo!

On Monday, Elsie Fest tweeted out information about the performances and its new location :

Along with performances, Elsie Fest goers will  be offered exclusive meet and greet packages and festival merchandise among other amazing things.

Elsie Fest will take place on September 5th at the Ford Amphitheater on the Coney Island Boardwalk and we cannot wait to see you there!
