Emilia Clarke Thinks Jon Snow Might Come Back To Life

Emilia Clarke believes Jon Snow might yet live, if not in this Games of Thrones season, then the next. Fans await the next book and season to find out.

Since the Season 5 finale of Game of Thrones aired on both sides of the Atlantic, fans across the globe have been voicing their upset and displeasure at the apparent murder of Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) by other members of the Night’s Watch in the episodes’ closing scenes.

But now, Emilia Clarke who plays Daenerys Targaryen, has got the fandom excited after telling MTV she believes he might not really be dead.

On the possibility of Jon Snow reappearing, she said:

“If I had to bet, I would say there’s a 50/50 chance. There’s some very helpful people there who could bring him on back to life.”

Harrington himself has said in multiple interviews that Snow is a goner, declaring:

“I’ve been told I’m dead. I’m dead. I’m not coming back next season.”

A Song of Ice and Fire writer George R.R. Martin has yet to finish the next book in the series has also been teasing fans, telling Entertainment Weekly recently:

“If there’s one thing we know in a Song Of Ice and Fire, it’s that death is not necessarily permanent.”

With the likes of Melisandre still alive and kicking in the show, perhaps fans aren’t entirely being wishful in their thinking when it comes to hopes that Snow will re-appear in Season 6. Time will tell…
