I just keep getting more excited for Ryan Murphy’s upcoming horror-comedy anthology series, Scream Queens. The series, that’s set to debut on Fox this fall, aired its first official teaser on Friday the 13th (smart marketing ploy for horror fans!) during Glee, and featured Emma Roberts. The starlet walks out of a sorority house porch wearing pastel colors while a pop tune plays, and proceeds to blow a gum-bubble that forms into some menacing face before popping. Girlishness, comedic fun, horror and Ryan Murphy should add up to a successful concoction for the network as well as cast and crew.
Roberts previously worked with Murphy in two season of American Horror Story (both Coven and Freak Show gave Roberts main roles) and has shown off her frightening abilities in Scream 4 as the good girl/psychotic murderer in the cult classic horror film series as the cousin of the film’s protagonist.
Roberts will play the lead alongside Jamie Lee Curtis for the upcoming series that has just begun filming, (along with Lea Michele, Nick Jonas, and Ariana Grande) so get ready for an entertaining time when Scream Queens debuts later this year!
