This past Saturday, August 2, the music world lost another great talent. American Idol alum, Michael Johns, was found dead in his apartment at age 35 of what was originally reported as a blood clot in his ankle.
TMZ has recently released the emotional 911 call made by a friend of Michael, after discovering his body a mere hour after he had died. You can hear the friend “breathlessly perform CPR” in the video; evidently emotional as he told the dispatcher he had left Johns just two hours earlier and he had seemed fine.
According to the call, Micheal’s body “was cold to the touch and it appeared rigor mortis had set in.” An official cause of death has not yet been released by the coroner.
