‘Empire’ Reveals Artwork, Tracklist And Release Date For Season 1 Soundtrack

Empire turned out to be a massive hit for Fox and with music being the focus of the series, it’s only normal that an accompanying soundtrack is coming out. The collection of songs from the show’s first season are now put into one disc, which now has an official cover art, tracklisting and release date to go by.

The artwork for Empire: Original Soundtrack From Season 1, which can be seen above, features a shot of the Lyon family in black and white, with their jewelry shining in gold along with the logo. The Timbaland-crafted tracks from the show will be all included in a two-version release, since there’s also a deluxe edition with seven additional tunes. The likes of Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson and Rita Ora feature on the soundtrack, alongside the series’ main stars, Jussie Smollett, Bryshere “Yazz” Gray and Serayah McNeil.

The soundtrack for the first season of Empire is scheduled to come out on March 10.
