ESSENCE Announces College Ambassador Search

ESSENCE wants to give three aspiring journalists the chance of a lifetime–find out how you can become a college ambassador!

Have you always wanted to write for a national publication? How about perfecting your craft on camera at some of the hottest events catered to women who make bold and authentic moves?

Well, our friends at ESSENCE are coming to a campus near you with the launch of its first College Ambassador Search! When I asked Cori Murray, ESSENCE Entertainment Director, “Why now?”, she expressed the need to further cultivate millennial voices and give them the opportunity to become journalists while in college.

ESSENCE is looking for three game changers from various campuses who can eat, sleep, and breathe the mission and values of ESSENCE, while being relatable and recognizable throughout the campus community.

Men, don’t worry! You aren’t excluded. If you love ESSENCE as much as we do, have strong writing skills, and great on-camera presence, then apply RIGHT NOW!

You don’t have much time to waste. The deadline for all entries is next Tuesday, August 18th, at 5 pm EST.
