Okay, without a doubt this is my favorite track so far. As I started listening to the song it reminded me highly of Usher’s hit single “U Remind Me.” “Don’t Lose Your Cool” is an upbeat track that grabs your attention the moment the song begins. I truly believe that this song should be a summer anthem.
Between the two songs that we have heard so far, I can hear significant differences in style between “Wildlife” and “Don’t Lose Your Cool.” You have a song like “Wildlife,” where the song is more hard-hitting in both lyrics and production to the point where the song gets a little dark, whereas, in “Don’t Lose Your Cool,” things are a bit more mellow, and you get a relaxed feeling from the song. Both songs are equally enjoyable, yet they showcase different sides of Justin Alexander.
Regardless, the song is amazing! The music along with the lyrics are really what make this a hit for me. I can’t wait to see what else Justin Alexander has in store for us and our readers.
