Described as an upcoming R&B artist, Texas born Michael McQuaid discovered his love of music as a teenager after joining an after school program called School Of Rock, although sadly Jack Black wasn’t in charge.
Since then, he has spent the last few years slowly working towards achieving his ambition of making it in the music world. Now, having moved to Nashville in 2012 to pursue that dream and thanks to new single “Vibes”, which Popwrapped are delighted to premiere, he’s done just that.
The track, which mixes soul, hip-hop and a strong, rhythmic vocal from McQuaid, makes a refreshing change from the usual cheesy-pop/rock which so many of his artistic counterparts focus on and adds another strong number to the rather impressive work that featured on his previous record “Heart & Soul”.
“Vibes” is taken from McQuaid’s new EP titled “Glasshouse” which is due out in the fall.
