ABC president Paul Lee admitted that Season Two of Revenge “stumbled” and said the third season will be “less complicated”.
“I think we stumbled a little bit in the second season. [Season Three] is a slightly less complicated and really interesting take”.
The third season premiere is the first episode under new showrunner Sunil Nayar, who replaces series creator Mike Kelley.
“The first episode back… is a fantastic episode starting with a magnificent hook” Lee insisted. Revenge star Gabriel Mann told Digital Spy what fans should expect in season three: “It’s going to be all about emotional and sexual manipulation”.
Season three of Revenge premieres on Sunday September 29th on ABC.
