That talented gang is all about the special celebrations and have been making parodies for each and every single one of them. Thanksgiving couldn’t be missing from their list, so they got into “All About That Bass” and turned it into “All About That Baste”. With the father being the lead singer, he’s joined by the rest for funny and silly routines or skits, while singing about basting the turkey and getting the recipes done correctly.
The altered lyrics include more than basting though, as that’s just for the chorus part. The situation described is the disaster going on in most families’ houses when preparing the Thanksgiving dinner. This poor dad can’t get things done right, so he’s getting really into things and does no wrong, especially when it comes to baste.
