It’s been nearly seven months since we lost Cory Monteith, but his memory is still alive; fans of the actor have begun a campaign to get a Monteith immortalised in Madame Tussauds.
The campaign is said to have started, last week and according to Teen.com,”Over the last 24 Fans of the Glee actor have been tweeting the hashtag #WeWantTheStatueOfCoryMonteithToMadameTussauds,” when they reported the story, last Wednesday.
The campaign comes after Lea Michele shared memories of Cory in Teen Vogue’s March issue, saying “There’s just something about knowing he’s watching everything I’m doing and feeling like I have to do everything now not just for me but for him. I also have a safety net below me – if I fall or if it’s too much, my friends and family will be there to catch me.”
Reps for Madame Tussauds or Monteith family have yet to comment on the campaign at this time.
