Two shows down in Drake’s Would You Like a Tour? and half have now been cancelled.  Fans of the eleven time Billboard Number One artist were let down on Saturday night in Philadelphia when they found out that their concert had been rescheduled.

After an internal spat caused his tour to begin on a sour note, fans that were already in attendance at the Wells Fargo Theatre were advised that Drake would not be performing.  While fans were disheartened, they were especially upset because the announcement came one hour after the show was set to begin.

The tour originally started in Pittsburg; however, Drake decided to fire his opening act Future.  Drake and Future have since mended fences; however, the second stop was cancelled due to an unexpected technical issue.  Not only were fans surprised by the late cancellation; so was Miguel, who was scheduled to open for the performer and later performed at a different location in Philadelphia.  He took to Twitter with his astonishment, “Man, just found out, unfortunately tonight’s show in Philly is cancelled. Can’t wait to find out the rescheduled date and come back and rock.”

The next stop on the tour is Montreal on October 21st, with 36 more dates to follow.  So far, the show is still on and fans are waiting with bated breath.  The concert in Philadelphia has been rescheduled for December 18, 2013.  The venue has also announced that the tickets for Saturday’s show will be valid on the new date in December.
