Bones fans, pay very close attention! The “Save the Date” card for Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) has been revealed for the highly anticipated wedding between the two, which is set to air Oct. 21.
According to Kristin Dos Santos of E! News, there’s a lot you should know about the upcoming ceremony. You might want to have a seat for this!
First of all, you will want to have plenty of tissues handy, because you will cry. It’s a wedding, so that’s sort of a given, but it has been a long time coming for these two, if you’ve followed the series from the beginning. Even Brennan herself says, “We’ve waited long enough.” Pretty sure the fans will agree on that one!
Booth and Brennan clean up very nicely and look fabulous in their wedding attire. Brennan might not see the reasoning behind getting her hair done for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding, but she still picks one heck of a dress.

There will also be a lot of familiar faces returning to walk down memory lane with the couple, including Brennan’s father, Ryan O’Neal and many of the old interns like, Edison, Colin, Oliver, Daisy, and Wendell. Let’s not forget, they’ll be dressed pretty nicely, too.
Emily Deschanel’s husband, David Hornsby, will be sure to have your stomach aching from so much laughter, as he will play Father Harrow for the episode. E! News reports, “There’s even a winking reference to their marriage when the character says, “It’s not like he’s going to be jealous,” after the two on-screen lovebirds kiss.
Cyndi Lauper will be guest starring, but right now there are no spoilers for what she’ll be singing. Hmm…Guess everyone we’ll have to wait on that one.
Fans will also recall moments that come from episode, “Aliens in a Spaceship,” back in season two.
Classic Brennan will also be on her game with some great lines, as everything comes together with the wedding. E News! Says that their favorite lines come at the alter, “just after she’s made the trek down the aisle.”
And last, but certainly not least, don’t fret! The wedding WILL happen. Many characters might be placing their bets on the two, thinking that the nuptials will be canceled, but love always finds a way.
The wedding will air Monday, Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. on Fox.
