Actor Paul Walker, best known from Fast and Furious, was confirmed dead on Saturday after his car was discovered as a part of a fiery accident in Southern California.
The actor, only 40 years old, was driving through Santa Clarita when he reportedly lost control of his car and crashed his Porsche into a tree. The car then burst into flames, with Walker still inside.
While some claim that Walker was part of a death hoax that is sweeping through Hollywood’s rich and famous, the LA Coroner’s Office confirmed his death. Walker was in town for a car show that was supporting the Philippines typhoon relief effort. Walker’s rep has also confirmed his death.
The accident occurred when Walker was taking some of his friends out for a ride in his car. Walker was reportedly with at least one other passenger at the time of the collision, and both died.
We send our condolences to Paul Walker’s family and friends. He will be missed.
