Oh the irony! FIFA 14 has scored the first number one game of 2014, over Activision’s latest addition to its popular Call of Duty series, Ghosts.
The football simulator put out by Electronic Arts, is ringing in the new year as the cross-platform number one, outselling Call of Duty: Ghosts by approximately 2000 copies, yet keeping a close second.
Third place is taken by Assassin’s Creed 4, while fourth and fifth belong to Battlefield 4, and the explosive Grand Theft Auto 5. The platform game Knack re-enters the charts at number 16, followed by Football Manager 2014, Disney Infinity, and the zombie hit Dead Rising 3.
