Just as the world was coming to terms with the strange casting announcement of Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele in the upcoming movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey, we now also have our Christian.
E.L. James announced on Twitter in the last hour that Christian Grey will be played by Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam.
The gorgeous and talented Charlie Hunnam will be Christian Grey in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.

My first instinct to this news is: what are they thinking??? I do not see this as a wise casting decision. I feel that many fans will feel the same, as many were hoping for a star such as The Vampire Diaries Ian Somerhalder or, my personal choice, White Collar’s Matt Bomer.
This is not the first controversial project that British star Hunnam has been a part of; his first major role was that of Nathan in British version of Queer As Folk.
Fifty Shades of Grey is due to be released August 1st 2014
