First Clip From Agent Carter’s Second Season Released

Check out the hilarious first clip featuring Jarvis and Peggy from the upcoming second season of ‘Marvel’s Agent Carter’.

Marvel and ABC have released the first clip from Marvel’s Agent Carter’s upcoming second season. The one minute video features Jarvis (James D’Arcy) and Peggy (Hayley Atwell) driving through California, presumably shortly after her plane landed.

In the clip, Jarvis (played by James D’Arcy), lists the reasons he finds Los Angeles to be a completely dreadful place, including the fact that palm trees lack “structural integrity”. He also cautions her about the terrible drivers while explaining how boring he is finding his time there. In the end, we learn the whereabouts of Howard Stark, and find out what brought Jarvis to Los Angeles in the first place.

The show’s official synopsis for the upcoming second season indicates that Peggy will find herself up against Cold War-era threats.

Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home — and perhaps even a new love — she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.

Enver Gjokaj will return as Daniel Sousa, though now in a more authoritative role as Peggy’s boss. Lyndsy Fonseca is also reprising her role as Angie, Peggy’s waitress/actress friend.
