On February 18th 2010, the first picture ever of the eleventh doctor and Amy Pond was released by BBC.
Although Matt Smith has recently been replaced by Peter Capaldi, Whovian hearts are still heavy for the Eleventh Doctor. When Whovians first saw the picture released by BBC, they were still cautious about the new Doctor, much like they are now with Peter Capaldi. Little did they know, that the new Doctor would steal both of our Whovian hearts and make his departure so incredibly hard.
But on February 18th, 2014, Karen Gillan who played Amy Pond in Doctor Who, posted the real first picture of the Doctor and his companion, taken during a costume test.
Pictures like these make us miss our Eleventh Doctor, but also leaves us eagerly waiting for our new Doctors arrival!
